Work includes single-family residences, interior renovations and artist collaboration projects.
Responsible for initial site visits, dimensioning, and photo documentation to create as-built drawings and a 3D model of the property. Responsible for correspondence between clients and implementing their comments into 3D and 2D design options. Responsible for creating a schematic design package including plans, renderings and early material boards of each project. Responsible for taking the schematic design through construction administration. Coordination with surveyors, structural, electrical, civil and title 24 to get a construction set ready to submit to the city. Responsible for plan check corrections, obtaining clearances and correspondence with the plan checker. Responsible for communicating with reps to keep the office material library up to date along with scheduling lunch and learns to keep up with the newest materials.

Work includes mixed-use projects including multi-family residential and commercial. Worked closely with the development and marketing teams to create video presentations including visuals of past, current and future projects to show investors. Worked with the development team to evaluate different 3D massing options on various potential project sites through a proforma. Worked with the design principal to create renderings and schematic design packages for design meetings with the planning commission. Worked with the design principal to design micro-units to be implemented in future projects.

HMC Architects I Ontario, CA I Internship
Work includes education and healthcare projects. I was selected to partake in HMC's summer internship program which allowed us to spend four weeks in each design studio. This experience was really beneficial to be exposed to a variety of work and tasks between Higher Education, K-12 and Healthcare. My tasks varied between drafting details in Revit to building a full site model in Sketch-up to creating a schematic massing model that analyzed program adjacencies. I was asked to extend to a part-time position so I continued for a semester during my last year of school to help out the design team I was working with get construction documents together.

Tanaka + Riley Architects I Yorba Linda, CA I Internship
Work includes commercial projects and interior renovations. I assisted the firm with construction documents and applied any changes to the design and drawings. 3D modeled all as-built projects with site dimensions from the principal. Created visuals for clients using photoshop. Accompanied design principals on job sites and took notes for onsite construction meetings.
